At Studio M, you can enrol in either the IMEB Speech and Drama syllabus or the IMEB Effective Public Speaking syllabus. Whichever the student is enrolled in, they will sit an exam with an IMEB accredited examiner during the September/October exam period, and students will also participate in the annual Australian National Eisteddfod held in Canberra.

Speech and Drama
The Speech and Drama program nurtures artistic expression, communication and confidence through progressive grade levels. Candidates explore age-appropriate literature, with flexibility in selections. Exams assess preparation, performance and interpretation, with additional written theory components for higher grades.

Effective Public Speaking
The Effective Public Speaking program builds confidence, clarity, and persuasive skills through structured examinations. Candidates select age-appropriate material, with assessments focusing on preparation, delivery, and audience engagement, while impromptu and sight reading tasks develop adaptability.
